My name is Rebecca, and I work in communications and marketing with a focus on nonprofits and small businesses with a heart. I started my business in 2008 and learned all I could about social media when it was just really Twitter (now named X) and Facebook. I help mission-driven organizations and purpose-led entrepreneurs tell their stories clearly, connect with their communities, and grow with intention.

I’ve led marketing, digital strategy, and operations initiatives for organizations like the Harris County Domestic Violence Coordinating Council, Texas Transgender Nondiscrimination Scholars, and Bay Area Council On Drugs and Alcohol. My work spans social media strategy, integrated campaigns, event promotion, brand voice development, and data analysis. I’ve also partnered with small businesses, including 1 Love Jamaican Cuisine and other community-centered brands, helping them strengthen their online presence and reach the right audience.

In addition to my hands-on marketing work, I teach digital marketing and data-focused classes for nonprofit professionals at Rice University’s Glasscock School of Continuing Studies. I guide nonprofits on how to use LinkedIn strategically, build meaningful professional visibility, and turn content into real engagement and partnerships. I also help organizations understand their analytics so they can make informed decisions with confidence.

At the center of everything I do is a commitment to community, clarity, and making sure good people doing good work are seen and supported.

When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me building LEGO creations or watching true crime with my wife.
